A two-hour interactive performance and workshop held in schools for girls, which empowers them to know their worth, and see the array of potential career possibilities they have.
The See Her Potential show tells the story of 8 historic women from all over the world, who have done awe-inspiring things, and addresses key messages about consent, coercion, female safety and gender stereotypes.
There are some topics we purposely do not cover, so that our show can be as effective as possible and relatable to girls from all walks of life.
Our interactive workshops are held after the performance and include a specially designed workbook for the students to fill out.

"Sexual abuse online and harassment ‘normalised’ in schools - 9 out of 10 girls had received unsolicited images and been subject to sexist name calling" (Ofsted June 2021).
We have a dedicated section of our show that goes in to detail about what Sexual harassment and abuse is, and we use our character's stories to illustrate common examples of how it may affect young girls in a school setting. We believe that showing these themes through characters in our play makes it much easier for the girls to relate to and see themselves in the stories of their characters.
“In 1995 11% of national parliamentarians were female globally, in 2016 that has now risen to 22% so if we carry on at this rate it will be 2045 when we achieve 50%”.
We don't want to have to wait til 2045! We believe young girls should have the chance to be parliamentarians too, and the empowerment and confidence building skills we teach in our Performance and workshop helps girls have practical tools to help them overcome self doubt.
"The Princes Trust found there was a distinct drop in girls self-esteem between the ages of 11 and 14"
This decline in self-esteem is due in part to the many physical, emotional, and social changes that girls experience during puberty. Girls face additional pressure to conform to societal expectations and cultural messages about appearance and body image during this time. It is important for girls to have support and guidance as they navigate these changes and develop a healthy sense of self-worth. In our workshop the girls are given a workbook that gives them techniques to help them navigate these feelings.
